INCORPORATION

Heng Fu Kot Agencies Pte Ltd. is a ship agency company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore on 1st of October 1995. Today, our company is one of the larger shipping agencies in Singapore, efficiently representing various Japanese and European Principals and ship owners.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

Once upon a time, before the formation of Heng Fu Kot Agencies Pte Ltd, there were two independent shipping agencies in Singapore, namely Heng Fu Agencies Pte Ltd and KOT Marine Agencies Pte Ltd. They were individually gaining a reputable name as a reliable ship agent. The owners of these two companies were very good friends. One day, they hit upon the idea of joining resources. Hence the formation of Heng Fu Kot Agencies on 1st October 1995.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE

The company is steadfast in carrying on with the traditional objective of handling all local formalities for all types of vessels especially bulkers and tankers (including gas carriers) that call Singapore and other regional ports/terminals. We make sure that our Principal's ships arrive and depart SAFELY, ON TIME, and all cargo, bunkering and other shipping related operations are performed SMOOTHLY and ECONOMICALLY.

BUSINESS GROWTH

With synergy, the company is more equipped to handle bigger volumes of ships. It soon becomes one of the larger agency houses handling petroleum products in Singapore. Our good reputation and creditability meticulously cultivated over the years put us in good stead to handle greater challenges in the new millennium. We recognize the importance of Information Technologies and invested in them for the enhancement of our services.

We are proud to say that we are now an ISO9000 certified company. We invested in a custom-made, well designed and reliable disbursement software system to process the bulk of our agency documentation and accounting.

Functioning as a relatively young company, we enjoy the advantage of being unhampered by historical baggage and bureaucracy which are known to limit operational effectiveness.
